How it works:

  • Select a duration fitting for your needs. Sessions can be as short as 30 minutes or as long as 3 hours.

  • Your Help Ticket tells your tutor what you need help with, how many sessions per week, and what subject you need help with.

  • Receive personalized instruction from your very own personal tutor.

GENERAL QUESTIONS:

  • SnapTutor is an on-demand online tutoring platform that connects students with high quality tutors in real time. Students submit a Help Ticket though our website, and tutors claim the corresponding help ticket on a first-come-first-serve basis. You can also select your preferred tutor.

  • Our tutors are carefully selected college students, graduate students, and recent college graduates who have demonstrated strong academic performance and interpersonal skills. Each tutor undergoes a thorough review process to ensure they meet our quality standards.

  • Yes! You can select your preferred tutor or have the first-available tutor claim your ticket.

  • If it exists, we can tutor it. K-12 is our speciality. As our group of tutors expands, so does our scope of subjects!

  • SnapTutor is 100% online. You can access our network of tutors from anywhere.

  • If your preferred tutor is not available, your request will still be filled by another qualified tutor so you do not experience any unnecessary delays.

  • Our tutors are available at various times, including evenings.

  • Our rates are straightforward and competitive, with no hidden fees.

    30-Minute: $80

    60-Minute: $155

  • Payment is made securely online when booking your session.

    To buy multiple sessions in advance, simply adjust the quantity in your cart.

  • With SnapTutor, you can either pay as you go or buy multiple sessions up front by adjusting the quantity in your cart — no subscriptions or long-term commitments.

  • We stand by the quality of our tutoring. If you feel your session did not meet expectations, contact us and we will review the situation promptly.

TECHNICAL & ACCESS

  • You will need a reliable internet connection, a computer or mobile device, and a microphone. A webcam is optional, but recommended for more interactive sessions.

  • After your tutor claims your request, you will receive a link to join your private online tutoring room.

  • If you experience technical issues, pause the session and contact your tutor. We will work with you to resolve the problem or reschedule if needed.

  • Sessions are flexible and can be as short as 30 minutes or as long as 180 minutes, depending on your request.

POLICIES & QUALITY ASSURANCE

  • SnapTutor hand-picks each and every one of our tutors, and our onboarding process is as thorough as it is austere. Only the most qualified tutors with the most outstanding interpersonal skills are invited to tutor with SnapTutor.

  • The 2.0 SnapTutor update will enable students to build a favorite list of tutors and ping individual tutors. However, SnapTutor 1.0 only support batch ping requests, not individual requests.

  • We understand schedules can change unexpectedly. You can cancel or reschedule a session, but we ask for as much notice as possible so tutors can adjust their schedules accordingly. Please refer to our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

  • WE MONITOR TUTOR PERFORMANCE THROUGH STUDENT FEEDBACK, PERIODIC REVIEWS, AND QUALITY CHECKS TO ENSURE THE HIGHEST STANDARD OF SERVICE.

  • Absolutely. We value your privacy and never share your personal information. All sessions take place in secure online rooms.
